Indonesian massage

Watsu
Its name comes from “water” and “shiatsu.” To practice this massage, one must be immersed in a shallow tub with warm water. After a brief breathing preparation, one surrenders into the arms of the practitioner who makes the patient flow and float at the water’s surface, alternating pressure and stretching with gentle movements on key points of the body. Watsu massage increases muscle mobility, joints feel lighter, tension and pain disappear. Above all, however, water practice has profound and positive effects on the psyche.
